Letter to my son.
I want the best for you, my son; I want you to carry the love of the world in your heart, so you will be a good man and know that a woman is to be loved and respected.
I will teach you to see with the eyes of the heart, so you can distinguish right from wrong. I want you to be my pride, for one day you will grow up and have your own life; in the meantime, let me hold you and love you like nothing else in this world.
One day you will go on to build your own family, and I want everyone to be proud of you—to give the same love that was given to you. That way, we will be a family formed under the values of a happy life, full of love to give and share.
My son, I only ask that when you have your own life, stay true to your principles. Never turn away from the knowledge I’ve given you. Respect everyone, even if you don’t agree with them.
You will know what is good and bad for your life. Be good, make me proud to be your mother. As for me, I’ve been proud of you since before you were born.
My son, I love you!
