My wife and I were both taken aback when we were asked to leave my friend’s wedding after we decided to order pizza because the buffet had run out of food. As I ended the call, I felt a sense of relief. The initial experience had been awkward and uncomfortable, but it seemed things were on the mend. Reflecting on it all, I realized that the lack of food had caused more trouble than anyone had anticipated. However, in the end, it led to a solution that promised to be even better than the original event.
